In other news. The teaching semester is over

Our departmental Christmas lunch was yesterday. It was great. I ate loads and loads. Sure felt a little weighty after but it was worth it.  The menu was excellent this time around, I was satisfied and jolly and even wore the silly hat you find in crackers

Although we’re still here until Wednesday afternoon, I can’t wait. It’s been interesting times and I look forward to a less interesting holiday. What I miss the most is the amount of casual reading I have neglected ever since 4th year of university. I hope to catch up over the break, and not deal with work at all. This is a Christmas wish, which I hope Santa is listening too (I’ve ate the cookies and milk =\).

In fact today, I’ve decided to celebrate a little early. Hopefully, going to see Avatar this afternoon. A visual feast I’ve been told by semi reliable sources (the Internet!) I hope it’s worth it, but more importantly I hope the cinema is warm enough so that my arse wont stick to the seat when I try to leave. I’ll tell you all about it when I get back. If my fingers work

I’m so bored right now, I dont even feel like going home. I’m going to stay in and finish this bit of writing completely, it will be good but my brain feels like frozen fudge right now. Speaking of dessert today it was carrot cake with lunch. A bright point to my day

I even put it on a pedestal, was nice but a bit chunky for my liking, is it too much information that I can still taste it if I burp?

It’s been an eventful week or so, lots of things going on. My mum went away to Pakistan yesterday for a few weeks, I worry about that place it’s pretty violent these days, bombs every other day.

I did have a nice cake on Saturday though, it was wonderful. Thinking about it makes the worry go away

Yum yum, in my tum. Although some people [one person] still don’t agree that it’s a pretty cake. They would be wrong, it has a natural beauty >.<

I have an Easter Egg with mug, I shall open it on the weekend, I just get in trouble for opening things early, like birthday presents and such

Actually it doesn’t even matter, they both look very delicious, but no, … Cake #1 was far far superior, because Cake #2 was utter rubbish!

That has never happened to me before, where I have actually considered a cake to be rubbish, especially chocolate cake. I had trouble finishing it off, with thoughts in my head going …  how much more can I manage, can I eat it all, eww I feel sick eating this diseased cake.

Fake cake, how could you Starbucks? How could you!? Even your Mocha was garbage, I’m never going back to that place *shudders*
