Another disappointing weekend, I was going to write this up yesterday but just could not muster the energy for it. Ever had a bad experience that makes you re-evaluate life on its most fundamental level. It happened to me on Sunday.
First thing, let me set the scene for you lot
Cake #1: chocolate and banana cake from Costa
Cake #2: chocolate decadence cake from Starbucks
Which looks better?
Actually it doesn’t even matter, they both look very delicious, but no, … Cake #1 was far far superior, because Cake #2 was utter rubbish!
That has never happened to me before, where I have actually considered a cake to be rubbish, especially chocolate cake. I had trouble finishing it off, with thoughts in my head going … how much more can I manage, can I eat it all, eww I feel sick eating this diseased cake.
Fake cake, how could you Starbucks? How could you!? Even your Mocha was garbage, I’m never going back to that place *shudders*

Tbh none of them look nice. Cakes/cookies look nice in Cafe Nero, I’ve never got one just in case. I’d buy one… probably exspensive and it’ll taste like shit.

. They don’t need to look very nice to taste awesome. The best cake I ever had was home made and looked ugly.
I haven’t been for a long time, I shall head back there one day.
I must just be a freak then. I don’t tend to eat or drink anything that looks “ugly” to me. >.>
