Today something I’ve been waiting for a few months now has finally happened, Google Street View UK has finally gone online. This useful gem will make sure I will not get lost again if I ever decide to visit somewhere that is covered it by it.
For those that don’t know, it’s basically a street level map consisting of multiple images captured by the Google camera car that has a tower on it with many camera for full 360 degree vision.
Although, it is useful there is a cottage industry of people catching people doing strange strange things that just happen to have been captured.
In fact one of the reasons I was waiting for this is because I saw the google car drive past me at some point last year, and I thought oh no … I’m going to be on it … and indeed I was
The strangest thing about it is that I am wearing the exact same clothes today (except the jacket) as I was that day, which probably says more about my wardrobe than anything else 
Well, back to work now
